Document Controller

We have a vacancy for a Document Controller / Administrator to work within our Aberdeen Office. The Document Controller will manage data and documentation on behalf of the company and its clients in accordance with any contractual arrangements and/or regulatory and legal compliance.

The main duties associated with the role, include but are not limited to:


  1. Maintain the BMS System, scanning, filing, and archiving Company documents in accordance with document management controls, standards, processes and procedures to ensure documents can be retrieved efficiently

  2. Ensure all data and information is in the Company BMS System is correct, complete and up to date and revisions are clearly implemented, recorded and issued

  3. Advising departments on how to manage document lifecycles to ensure that there is a clear audit trail of how documents are approved



Requirements for the position:


  • Experience in document management activities

  • Experience in working to departmental and project procedures

  • Experience in working in Oil & Gas environment

  • Experienced user of electronic document management systems

  • Understanding of electronic file production and retention

  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

  • Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet project targets
