Senior Offshore Data Processor

We are currently looking for a Senior Offshore Data Processor to join the Data Centre team based at N-Sea’s Headquarters in Dordrecht, the Netherlands.

In this position you'll process and Quality Control (QC) acquired data and to process raw data into final products for our Clients in line with company standards and / or project specific guidelines. You will support the offshore vessels processing requirements and taking the lead in producing deliverables in close cooperation with the office Data Manager.

Your main duties are:

  1. The ability to QC, process, interpret, & monitor geophysical data within a supervised project environment in accordance with N-Sea procedures
  2. The ability to present & report survey data
  3. The ability to support offshore teams
  4. Communicate with other members of the project team to optimise the data quality (short term)
  5. Communicate to Manager Data Centre to optimize data flows and procedures (long term)
  6. Allocate work orders, ensure execution and requirements are promptly met
  7. Proficient in processing of data using the QINSy software and/or EIVA Suite
  8. Development of procedures and training programs for the Junior positions
  9. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
  10. Creation of new procedures and work instruction surrounding processing if required
  11. Working collaboratively with team members
  12. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
  13. Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
  14. Advising the Data Manager about the progress of the data interpretation and the quality of the data

Requirements for this position are:

  1. BSc. in hydrography or related subject
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in the industry
  3. A flexible attitude, self-motivated
  4. Excellent Time Management skills
  5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
  6. Have a critical attitude
  7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
  8. Working collaboratively with team members
  9. Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
  10. Advisory position
