We have a vacancy (full time) for a Data Manager for our organisation based in Dordrecht (NL).
The objective of a Data Manager within N-Sea is to process and Quality Control (QC) acquired data and to process raw data into final products for our Clients in line with company standards and / or project specific guidelines.
The job scope of the discipline of Data Manager within N-Sea encompasses the following elements:
• Based in the company’s headquarters in Dordrecht
• Support the Data Centre and offshore vessels Data Management requirements
Keeping the overview regarding project deliverables
The main duties associated with the role, include but are not limited to:
• The ability to QC, process, interpret, & monitor geophysical data within a supervised project environment in accordance with N-Sea procedures
• The ability to present & report survey data
• The ability to support offshore teams
• Communicate with other members of the project team to optimise the data deliverables and quality (short term)
• Communicate to Head of Data Centre to optimize data flows and procedures (long term)
• Allocate work orders, ensure execution and requirements are promptly met
• Proficient in processing of data using the QINSy software and/or EIVA Suite
• Development of procedures and training programs for the Junior positions
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
• Creation of new procedures and work instruction surrounding processing if required
• Working collaboratively with team members
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
• Advising the Manager Data Centre about the progress throughout the lifecycle of a project and the quality of the data
• Archive Survey Data
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Hydrography or related subject
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the industry
• A flexible attitude, self-motivated
• Excellent Time Management skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Have a critical attitude
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
• Working collaboratively with team members
• Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
• Advisory position and ability to manage data
