We have a vacancy (full time) for a Data Processor for our organisation based in Dordrecht (NL).
The objective of the QC Data Processor within N-Sea is primarily to QC and report on data quality acquired offshore by our vessels.
The job scope of the discipline of the QC Date Processor within N-Sea encompasses the following elements:
• Based in the company’s headquarters in Dordrecht
• To conduct Quality Control of survey data on a daily basis to ensure data is in line with company standard and / or project specific guidelines
• Report to vessel and Manager Data Centre on data quality and adhering off offshore team to company standard and / or project specific guidelines
The main duties associated with the role, include but are not limited to:
• Process, interpret, & monitor survey data in accordance with N-Sea procedures
• QC data acquired offshore and report results to the offshore teams
• Communicate with other members of the project team to optimise the data quality (short term)
• Communicate to Manager Data Centre to optimize data flows and procedures (long term)
• Proficient in QC data using the Qinsy software
• Proficient in QC data using the Eiva offline software (not essential)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
• Working collaboratively with team members
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years experience with the processing and interpretation of marine geophysical data
• Bachelor or master degree in (Civil, mechanical, hydrographical or marine) Engineering
• A flexible attitude, self-motivated
• Excellent Time Management skills
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Have a critical attitude
• Proficient in QC data using the Qinsy offline software
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules
• Working collaboratively with team members
• Ensuring quality with an attention to detail
