We have a vacancy (full time) for a IT Infrastructure Engineer for our organisation based in Dordrecht (NL).

Your main duties in this position
• Maintaining and supporting the different parts of the IT infrastructure;
– Network, WAN and LAN including secure remote connectivity.
– Telecommunications including (mobile) phones and video conferencing.
– Servers including cloud platforms, backup and recovery.
– Printing, scanning and copying.
– Security e.g. active directory authorisations and technical policies as well as antivirus, antispam, anti-malware or other intrusion systems.
– Coordinating in (planned and unplanned) changes of the infrastructure.
– Testing, guiding and implementing infrastructure changes and new releases of operating systems (patching).

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, procedures and work instructions.

• Service desking with regards to IT issues;
– Provide end user workstation support.
– Logging all service desk interactions including adequate follow-up.
– Leading technical specialist of IT partners.

• Support improvement projects in IT as well as business;
– Advise and participate in improvement initiatives.
– Advise on, and develop standardized workstations.
– Advise and initiate renewals of infrastructure based on life cycles.
– Advise and support in developing IT policies and procedures.

Requirements
• Bachelor degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in similar IT infrastructure management role or 10+ years of experience in IT end-user support, technical troubleshooting and client services environment.
• Working knowledge in service desking, knowledge of applicable tooling preferred.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft office environment, Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge in server and cloud environment.
• Working knowledge in network and security environment.
• Basic working knowledge of database and application management.
• Keeping track of trends in IT technology and related market potential.
• Customer driven orientation and well developed interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant, honest and open personality.
• Personal and professional references.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
