We have a vacancy (full time) for a Store Keeper for our organisation based in IJmuiden (NL).

Your main duties in this position
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods. Ensure proper labelling, categorization, and storage of items to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory control.
• Regularly monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent shortages or overstock situations. Conduct periodic physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy and quality, and verify against purchase. Organise and maintain the store area to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods. Implement best practices for space utilisation and safety.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Update inventory management systems to reflect real-time stock movements.
• Coordinate the distribution and issuance of goods to various departments as needed. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to support operational needs.
• Verify stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy. Identify and investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor reorder points and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment of stock. Liaise with the procurement department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of goods.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding the storage and handling of goods. Implement security measures to protect inventory from theft, damage, or loss.
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding deliveries, returns, and inventory issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. Capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor tasks.
