We have a vacancy (full time) for a Technical Superintendent Mobilisations & Equipment for our organisation based in IJmuiden (NL).
Your main duties in this position
• Responsible for the preparation and execution of project outfitting on various vessels and barges
• Provided comprehensive support and guidance in design of deck layout of various projects on vessel and barges
• Responsible for budgeting of the maintenance, modifications and outfitting of project equipment including cost estimation and cost allocation
• Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of (project) equipment carried out in the most safe and efficient way
• Coordinating essential classification surveys by Class authorities for outfitting projects and equipment
• Maintaining responsibility for thorough documentation and reporting on maintenance, repairs and modifications on (project) equipment, ensuring compliance with certification requirements
• Supervising project mobilisations to ensure adherence to company safety and environmental protocols
• Take notice and implement actions from the lesson learned from past projects and departments to enhance future operations
• Following up on subcontractors and materials required to carry out the mobilisations on vessel and barges.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Maritime Engineering
• Possess 6 to 10 years of pertinent experience in nautical operations within offshore and/or maritime sectors
• Demonstrated expertise in outfitting vessels and barges
• Hands-on operational proficiency with Cable Lay vessels and barges
• Strong command of both written and spoken English
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team, problem-solving abilities, resilient in facing challenges, excellent communication skills, and proactive in taking initiative
